Life of a Bastard Vol. 1

It took a few weeks for me to decided if I was happy with the first book or if I am excited about the book. Yes, I am, receiving some positive feedback and some suggestions.

If I have to sum up what is the book mainly is about I think the tagline says it best "Coming of Age Story" it just happens to take place in the foster care system. A story from the POV of a child who turns into a teenager, how he views the world and what is happening to him. Life of a Bastard is a memoir; memories are interpretations that later in life you think back and interject hindsight and concern yourself with being exposed and being viewed negatively. An American story, Hispanic story, Black Story, a child story, negative and positive story or just a story that a reader decides if it has meaning at all or just plain junk.

My intention was just to publish and let it be, but again friends like Stephanie, friends here on Facebook nudged me to see it through. Get the word out because I owe this to myself, failing doesn't matter to me, that's life, I just get back up like always and try again, and again.

What is next? Of course, marketing, getting people to read my book, contacting bloggers and newspapers. Spanish version and an audio version. Vol. 2 is pretty much done just going to wait for awhile. If you like to be an advance reader and shoot me an email at
